One of the most beautiful, bustling neighborhoods in Milan

The Guastalla - Cinque Giornate neighborhood takes its name from the Guastalla Gardens, a charming place with a beautiful seventeenth-century fish pond.

It extends on both sides of Corso di Porta Vittoria as far as Piazza Cinque Giornate, and it features a dark green obelisk built to commemorate the Milanese rebellion against Austrian rule in 1848.

It is a busy neighborhood as it hosts important institutions such as the Palace of Justice, the Chamber of Labor, the Conservatory and the Faculty of Political Science and the General Hospital.

Here you can visit MUBA, a museum for children up to 12 years old, the Sormani library, one of the largest in Milan or the synagogue, the main place of Jewish worship in Milan.
